Exploring Partnerships with the Human Health Sector to Accomplish Conservation Education (Oregon)

This webinar will explore opportunities for watershed councils, SWCDs, and Land Trusts to partner with the health sector to accomplish innovative education programs. The Willamette Partnership in Portland has been studying opportunities with non-profit hospitals that are obligated to provide community health services; this could give councils, districts, and land trusts an opening to deliver programs for them that promote health linked with the outdoors. This is a follow up to the August 10 webinar on Accomplishing Watershed and Outdoor Education in 2017 and beyond that has been recorded.

NCPP Announces New Peer-to-Peer Web Conference Series

The National Conservation Planning Partnership is excited to introduce a new peer-to-peer web conference series to support conservation planning staff and partners. Developed as part of a national priority to reinvigorate conservation planning, the interactive workshops will help to ensure that our field staff are fully engaged and have the right tools to work one-on-one with our diverse customer base.
