WASHINGTON, Whidbey Island CD – Whidbey Island Conservation District is accepting applications for two full-time, non-exempt salaried, & benefited positions: Natural Resource Planner and Conservation Program Support Specialist.
The Natural Resource Planner is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried, benefitted position that reports directly to the District Manager. Individual must be able to build and maintain trusted relationships while working productively with a diverse community of landowners, land managers and partners including but not limited to farmers, forest landowners, residential homeowners, community organizations, tribes, and government agencies.
The Conservation Program Support Specialist (Support Specialist) is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried, benefited position that reports directly to the District Manager. The primary functions of this position are to support general office operations, Technical Assistance (TA) programs, Marketing, Education, and Outreach (ME&O) programs, and to coordinate the District’s annual Native Plant Sale.
