Webinar: Exploring Partnerships with the Human Health Sector to Accomplish Conservation Education

Upcoming Webinar for watershed councils, SWCDs, and Land Trusts:
Exploring Partnerships with the Human Health Sector to Accomplish Conservation Education (Oregon)

This webinar will explore opportunities for watershed councils, SWCDs, and Land Trusts to partner with the health sector to accomplish innovative education programs. The Willamette Partnership in Portland has been studying opportunities with non-profit hospitals that are obligated to provide community health services; this could give councils, districts, and land trusts an opening to deliver programs for them that promote health linked with the outdoors. This is a follow up to the August 10 webinar on Accomplishing Watershed and Outdoor Education in 2017 and beyond that has been recorded.

Bobby Cochran, Executive Director for the Willamette Partnership and Consultant Emily Henke will share information about their recent assessment, talk about this new partnership potential, and introduce councils, districts, and land trusts to a new sector.

Thursday, August 24, 10 a.m. -11 a.m.
